Under the Paris Climate Accord, all nations have committed to collectively limit global warming to well below 2 degrees Celsius and ideally no more than 1.5 degrees Celsius.
However, we know that we are currently on track for 3 degrees + warming. What impact will these two different scenarios have on our planet and in particular on our daily lives?
What will the world look like if we reach the climate target of 1.5 degrees, and what if we don't act now and head for 3 degrees of warming?
Speaker
Marcus Wadsak
Climate change makes us feel anxious or overwhelmed, but how can we turn these feelings into something productive? How can we deal with these emotions and at the same time use them to take action?
Speaker
Katharina Van Bronswijk
Should we blow up volcanoes to save the climate? Or are kangaroo dung transplants the way out of the crisis? Even absurd-sounding solutions can contain serious ideas. But they don't have to. Decide for yourself.
Speaker
Martin Moder
Let's focus on the actions we can take today and look at solutions and ideas that are already being implemented. What are steps, actions or projects that we - each and every one of us - can do now to get things rolling?
Let's recap and reflect on the highlights of the livestream day and build motivation for the remaining days of Climate Week

We can make companies more successful by involving employees who want to protect the planet in the transformation. What are the advantages of involving employees and their individual know-how from different departments in climate action? What makes teams so strong and how can I get as many people on board as possible?
What is the success factor behind Green Teams? What do Green Teams look like in practice, where should you even start and how do you build successful teams without losing focus on the day-to-day business?
Companies play an essential role in the fight against climate change, but in order to create a successful transformation, climate action must be embedded in all areas. Why is it so important that climate action becomes part of the corporate DNA and how can you get started?
Speaker
Christian Pophal
More and more frequently, well-known companies are announcing net-zero targets. But how can these plans be realized? What do I need to consider to ensure that my company achieves net zero emissions? What are the measurable OKRs we need to reduce emissions across the board?
Speaker
Julia Hartmann
What impact will climate change have on the working world of the future? What trends are emerging, what structural changes can be expected, and how can we best react to them?

What is the status quo of our climate? And which common myths can we dispel? With a variety of ready-made quiz questions, we offer your team a fun way to make climate change tangible and easy to understand. Basic & advanced quizzes, as well as industry & department focus.
Use the day to exchange ideas and give your employees the opportunity to contribute their own ideas and suggestions to shape the week and thus the sustainable transformation of your company together.
Here are some ideas on how you can start building your internal climate team or green team and collect ideas from your employees.
To position yourself as a sustainable company, you need to change internal processes -- that much is clear. But first, it's about convincing your employees of these processes and creating awareness for sustainable use of our resources. This is where the Zero Waste movement comes in. In her keynote speech "Zero Waste journey - with small steps to a sustainable corporate philosophy" Lorraine Wenzel, managing director of Zero Waste Austria, gives impulses for you and your employees and explains briefly and understandably the why and the how. Because only when your employees understand the background and see that even small steps can make a big difference, can sustainable changes be brought about that are supported by everyone. Join us on a journey towards a holistic, sustainable corporate philosophy.
Do you want to learn how to motivate others to act in a climate-friendly way? Or are you concerned about the climate crisis but find it difficult to share these concerns with your colleagues? You have recognized the danger of the climate crisis and are frustrated that so many people seem to be indifferent to it?
Then this is the right workshop for you! Here we will work out practical tips on how we can talk about the climate crisis in everyday life and thus make a difference.
